PROFESSIONAL  SECURITY  SCANNER
Rocket science?
That's just our hobby...

Key Features
Cross Platform Support
While MaxPatrols operates within Microsoft Windows for ease of use, its testing engine can test for possible vulnerabilities in any software or hardware platform: from Windows workstations to Cisco networks (*nix, Solaris, Novell, AS400, etc.) making MaxPatrol the most flexible Security Scanner Available.
MaxPatrols Protection Analyzer integrates a comprehensive suite of testing engines designed to test the full security posture of a host, not just operating system vulnerabilities. The Protection Analyzer seamlessly integrates with Maxpatrol and allows the host to be tested at different levels using smart attack matrixes. Unlike other information-security scanners that specialize in narrow solutions, MaxPatrol provides universal protection at all layers with unparalleled accuracy and precision. /div>
Maxpatrol Core Features
For more information, go to Scanning Quality.
Full Identification of Service Regardless of Port Configuration
Maxpatrol uses Intelligent Scanning to determine complex server configuration Permits vulnerability testing for servers with complex, non-standard configurations, where port numbers are assigned to services in arbitrary combinations, in other words Maxpatrol does not assume Port 21 is a FTP service or that and FTP service cannot be listening to other ports.
Web-server and Web Application structure analysis
Maxpatrol analyzes the structure of Web Applications to determine weaknesses and potential vulnerabilities in both the Web Server Configuration and the Web Application.
Heuristic method for detecting types and names of services, independent of responses to standard queries
Maxpatrol will identify a server, regardless of whether the server uses standard responses, to accurately test for vulnerabilities.
Maxpatrol uses intelligent searching to detect vulnerabilities in non-standard web-server scripts
Maxpatrol inspects all scripts installed on server for vulnerabilities allowing unauthorized file access, data access or manipulation or possible termination of service using intelligent algorithms.
Intelligent recognition of vulnerabilities in known web-server scripts
Accurately detects vulnerabilities in scripts where server configuration generates false responses not compliant with HTTP protocol.
Hidden-directory search for FTP servers
Maxpatrol will search for hidden directories or other types of hidden access in FTP servers.
Full identification and testing of RPC services in Windows and *nix
Maxpatrol can locate, identify and detect RPC all RPC Services as well as test for vulnerabilities.
Intelligent precision algorithms to minimize false detection
Specialized inspection methods combined with Maxpatrol's intelligent scanning engine decrease probability of false vulnerability detection.
Daily updates of new vulnerabilities and Tests
Maxpatrol's database is maintained by expert security professionals and programmers who are constantly searching for vulnerabilities, both known and unknown, designing new tests to detect those vulnerabilities and adding them to the Maxpatrol database. The database is updated daily using the latest secure transmission protocols. Maxpatrols engine and core are also updated without the need to restart the system.
Functionality and Interface
MaxPatrol's functional capabilities are enterprise class without being over burdensome to users. The guiding principal behind the design and funcutionality of Maxpatrol was simple "build the most reliable, accurate and dependable security auditing tool, and make it functional for the user", we think we have accomplished this.
Maxpatrol has an exceptional user-friendly multi-window graphic interface that is as easy to navigate as it is elegant.
Use of "Job" and "profile" organizational concepts make Maxpatrol exceptionally effective in security-monitoring and management.
Flexible Job scheduler facilitates automation of all tasks and takes a simple set it and forget it approach to scheduling scans and reporting results.
Maxpatrol allows for the scanning of multiple hosts limited only by the bandwidth available.
Full, concise and easy to understand logs of all scans are maintained, allowing easy comparisons of results.
Maxpatrols results can be generated into simple management reports or complete technical reports. The reporting engine provides details of all vulnerabilities as well as references and suggested fixes.
Program documentation includes help files and a tutorial.
